Oh shit. Oh shit, I am so doomed.
…What did I do?
That was his first and initial reaction to the Commander’s rather ominous declaration, mind working overtime as he tried to remember what he’d supposedly done the night before. Was he referring to the prank that he and Connie had decided to play on Jean? Or perhaps the fact that Mikasa had snuck into his room that night after having another nightmare, asking if it was alright to sleep with him.
But none of those were necessarily bad, right? He hadn’t broken any rules or done anything wrong, had he? Whatever it was, the Commander was calling him out on it and Eren was on the verge of having a mini meltdown.
“I-I’m sorry sir? I don’t know what you mean.”
Oh, because lying to your commanding officer is such a brilliant plan. Way to go, Jaeger.
Actually, that was an experiment… A very bad experimento too. How come all of his efforts to try to be more approachable with his subordinates failed so miserably?
It had to be his stoic face, his quiet manners, and his voice, sure, it had to be. Not to mention his role in the army; he was relieved since he was respected, but also a bit disappointed: apparently, he appeared to be intimidating - even though it wasn’t like this with everyone. Armin Arlelt used to be more relaxed around him compared to most of his young comrades.
"I’ve heard from the diner ladies that you’ve helped them yesterday evening."
"Will you bear my child?" a dead-serious face accompanied his words.
- "I never see you anymore."
- "Are you insane?"
- "Do you really love me?"
- "I wish you would tell me why."
- "I finally understand."
- "You don’t have to protect me."
- "I’m not scared."
- "Please, don’t slam the door!"
- "I know you mean well but let me be."
- "How to be brave when I’m afraid to fall?"
- "You look beautiful."
- "I’m crazy for you."
- "I’ll distract them while you run away."
- "Do you even care about how I feel?"
- "I’ll be right here."
- "Look at the sky. It’s beautiful."
- "I thought you were dead!"
- "Shut up and come with me if you want to live."
- "I won’t say I’m in love."
- "Let me in."
- "We used to be best friends."
- "I just don’t care about you anymore."
- "Help me! They are trying to kill me!"
- "I made cookies for you."
- "Will you bear my child?"
- "Marry me!"
- "What do you think you’re doing with that?"
- "Please… Don’t."
- "Stop chasing me!"
- "I just… I just love you so much that I can’t even stand it!"
- "I don’t want to be around you anymore."
- "I don’t really care."
- "You have to believe me!"
- "They are tricking you!"
- "Why you betrayed me?"
- "Go to hell."
- "I want all of you."
- "Let’s be friends, okay?"
- "Can I have this dance?"
- "I need a hug."
- "I’m so drunk!"
- "What did you take?"
- "Are you high?"
- "What are you so afraid of?"
- "Oh dear god… What have you done?"
- "There were so much blood…"
- "Clean this mess!"
- "I want to leave my partner."
- "I killed someone."
- "I know what you did last night."
- "Explain to me what’s going on."
Levi took a deep breath as he rubbed his face into the commander’s chest. Arms wrapping around his body to make sure he won’t go away.
”..Levi, somebody can see…”
(I KNEW IT TIFFANY I FUCKING KNEW IT)
He kept on lifting and lowering his arms holding the shots, and Levi was of no bother actually. Which was good for the both of them - just the question ‘what if someone sees?’ was still in his mind, he supposed that those ‘someones’ will figure that was some joke. As if it wasn’t common between veterans and comrades to joke about one another or together..!
"Do I stink of sweat?"
"It isn-" He couldn’t finish his answer because he felt hands grabbing his little body and placing him directly on Erwin’s chest. A soft mewing sound suddenly slipped between his lips, letting him wonder how he even managed to make such sounds. What exactly had been changed by eating this cookie? Apparently a lot more than he thought.
Levi found himself snuggled against Erwin’s body and looked up into his blue eyes as he asked the next question. “It’s not funny—” his hands kneaded the body resting underneath them. “—but it’s not bad either.”
If Levi weren’t smaller than a baby, Erwin would probably have some distant echo of a father vibe. Instead of that, he felt sudden relaxation, which he knew to be typical of having a cat - too bad he couldn’t own one, he loved those animals a lot. Especially for their calming effect. The commander was aware he usually looked calm, and he felt that way; having a cat close to him, even better on his lap or his chest, enhanced his state of mind.
"I guessed so" he spoke softly, resting his head against the back of the couch. "If it’s not bad, how is it?"
Casper cringed slightly, slouching his neck lower so locks of hair would hide his face. It was a move meant to be classed as ‘subtle’, considering that not only was he embarrassed to be praised (or however that statement should have been taken as), he was embarrassed to be embarrassed of such a thing.
Taking another drag, allowing for the momentary rush to take over his mind, he hummed in acknowledgement.
"Sooner I realise it’s an expensive habit to keep up, sooner I quit." A hollow chuckle. "Better spending any extra cash on something worthwhile, don’t you think? Not that I have any real plan to stop any time soon."
Erwin watched the youngster’s reaction without studying them; not like he wasn’t acting differently from the common human being. His reaction was quite expected and normal.
His words, though, gave Erwin the impression that this young man was either a lonely person or someone who liked to tal a lot -not verbose, he didn’t like to think bad things of people he just met.
"Ah, I guess so. For example, since we’re waiting for the bus, in bus tickets." he tried to joke with his quiet manners, but he failed, as usual.
